Classic Automotive, also known as CARS, INC was formed in March 1999 by Jim and Tracy Barber. After spending 15 years with Eaton Corp, Jim saw a growing trend in the restroation industry. Frustrated with his ability to have work performed on his own cars by qualified, knowlegable craftsmen, he struck out to build his own company. Starting with two other employees, he began with the thought of doing quality work....

Today the company has grown to 23 employees and restores cars from all over the United States. We have also grown into the leader in Turn Key vehicles since the introduction of the Hot Rod 1 Camaro in 2004.
